The Seed Ball Kit and Seed Pop were both simple and fun to plant, making them ideal Easter basket fillers or gifts for ages 3-99 (you can give it to someone over 100, we won’t tell). Modern Sprouts products come with clear and detailed instructions both written and visual, making them easy to use.

Seed Pop

The Seed Pop was incredibly easy and enjoyable to plant. All you need to do is find a pot of your choice and add the seed starting mix. I recommend using Pro-Mix potting mix, as it’s light and perfect for starting seeds. Even for a potting mix, it works wonders. We chose the Humble Bee for our honey and bumble bees but there are other varieties to choose from such as Humble Bee, Butterfly, and Song Bird. Which one will you choose? These DIY seed ball kits are not only fun to make, but they also provide a hands-on way to learn about seed starting. They can be a great activity for teachers, homeschooling parents, or families looking to teach their children about gardening.
